Hi, I’m Nola Beni, ALMFT, a therapist who believes that therapy should feel like a space where you can take a breath and show up as you are; a space where your lived experiences are valued and respected.
My hope is that our work together feels supportive, grounded, and human, even when we’re sitting with hard or tender things. While the process can be challenging, I believe it is deeply worthwhile and together we can build lasting change.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and experiences. Your values and priorities remain at the center of our work, guiding the therapeutic process.
In my work with couples, I often draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to strengthen connection and improve communication. For individual therapy, I commonly incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to support insight, growth, and meaningful change.
I see therapy as a collaborative journey, shaping our work around your unique goals. Whether you’re coming in individually or with a partner, I bring a patient, caring presence to support your needs.
My role is to walk alongside you, offering support and structure as you work towards clarity and a life that feels more aligned with what you long for.
I have seen firsthand how powerful it can be to feel truly understood, supported, and not alone in your experiences.
My work in eating disorder treatment and early childhood education has shown me how deeply our relationships, environments, and early experiences shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others. I have experience supporting couples in rebuilding trust, strengthening co-parenting relationships, navigating life transitions, and improving emotional regulation and communication.
I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, anger, and eating disorders through a Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned approach.
Being an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (ALMFT), my education allows me to draw from the latest research and most effective ways to support my clients in their growth.
